Course content summary:
At
this level candidates will be encouraged to expand their existing knowledge,
skills and experience using the new knowledge that will be gained after
studying this curriculum. It involves theory and practical in wet lab,
candidate will observe and assist in surgeries.
Objectives:

Conduct an analysis for the peri-operative environment “ergonomics” to
promote maximum safety to both patient and doctor
·
Recognize the part of laparoscopy and instruments used in minimal
invasive surgery and how-to setup and dismount them
·
Determine the physics of the laparoscopic machine and the way it works,
and different gases used
·
Identify the complications that can be faced during and after laparoscopic
surgery and how to avoid them, and how to treat them if happened
·
Conduct simple laparoscopic procedures under supervision of certified
gynecological laparoscopists
